Double Crimp Nylon Insulated Terminal Cable with 600Volts and 221°F Temperature Terminal
Double crimp nylon insulated push on terminals are quick connect wire terminals that come in both male and female versions for wire sizes ranging from 22 gauge to 10 gauge. Double crimp design crimps the wire and the insulation for extra pull strength and strain relief. Nylon insulating maternal won't deform from crimping and will hold up to higher temperatures than standard vinyl (PVC) insulation. The partially insulated nylon material is color coded based on the wire size. Double crimp nylon push on terminals are rated to 600 volts and temperatures up to 221°F (105°C). Quick connect push on size is 1/4 inch. These are higher performance push on terminals that are suitable for use in automotive and marine electrical systems, as well as commercial and industrial electrical applications.

Put on the safety glasses. ...
Cut the outer cover on the wiring harness open at the suspected bad spot. ...
Turn on the ohm meter and place the dial on the ohms reading. ...
Disconnect any devices from each end of the wire being tested and place them where they are not touching any other wires if no visible trouble was found.
As the size increases in the gauge number, the size of the conductor wire decreases. The metric wire increases with size whereas the AWG size gets smaller with larger size.
